Militia-Templi -- Email list for English speaking brothers and novices of the Militia Templi

About Militia-Templi

Every two months the Chancellery, or another Dicastery of the Magistral Seat, will publish a newsletter with the main news from the Magistral Seat. You can send comments just sending the answer to the address of the mailing list, Your message will be automatically sent to all members of the group. The Grand Master wrote in his letter of presentation of the mailing list that he would like it to be also a mean of connection between us all. That’s why You are invited to use the mailing list also to inform the others about the news of Your Preceptory, of Your Commanderie or of Your family; it is suggested to use this mailing list also to ask for prayers to the others or to invite the others to activities of the own community.

The newsletter will be only in the English language. We have long reflected on the language to be used in order to let the newsletter be understood by everyone; at first we had thought to latin, but then You Know, we thought that despite the veneration that we all have for the language of the Liturgy of the Church, maybe the english one could have been easier to understand (I hope that if a modernist will read this letter, he won’t regard it as a first step towards that kind of attitude towards the eternal Truths of the Catholic Doctrine). Each one of You can answer to the messages or write the own messages in the own language; we only beg - if possible - to enclose a translation in English, otherwise will be nevertheless all right.

It is clear that, despite the freedom to exchange information the Grand Master wanted to be applied in the list, the Magistral Seat reserves the right to intervene and/or to stop a message in case of assertions contrary to the Doctrine of the Church or to the Rule of the Order: both of them must be the frame of this mailing list.
